Bocouture is a prescription only medicine manufactured by Merz and is a non-fridge line toxin. It works by blocking the nerve impulses in all injected muscles. This prevents muscles from contracting leading to temporary and reversible relaxation. It is made up of Botulinum toxin type A, free from complexing proteins, and each vial contains powder for injection.
Bocouture is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of upper facial lines in adults below 65 years when the severity of these lines has an important psychological impact for the patient.
